This Privacy Policy explains how Jobsaaa ("Jobsaaa", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use our mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By using Jobsaaa you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
To provide the Service, we collect:
- Account & profile data — your name, phone number, email address, profile photo, and any skills or details you add.
- Location data — your approximate or precise location, used to show jobs near you and to place jobs you post on the map.
- Content you create — jobs you post, requests, messages, reviews, and photos you upload.
- Usage & device data — how you interact with the app and basic technical information used for reliability and analytics.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and let you post jobs and apply for work.
- To connect posters and workers, including showing relevant jobs nearby and enabling in-app chat.
- To process payments, subscriptions and job boosts.
- To keep the Service safe — preventing fraud, abuse, and content that violates our terms.
- To send you service-related notifications and respond to support requests.
How your information is shared
We never sell your personal data. Some information is shared only as needed to run the Service:
- With other users — when you post a job or send a request, the relevant details (such as your name, profile and job information) are visible to the people you interact with.
- With service providers who process data on our behalf, including:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication and push notifications
- Stripe — payments, subscriptions and boosts
- Google Maps / Geocoding — converting addresses to map locations
- Sentry — error and crash diagnostics
- For legal reasons — when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and Jobsaaa.
We may share aggregated or anonymized analytics that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored securely and protected with industry-standard safeguards. Access is restricted to what is necessary to operate the Service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
Your rights & choices
You have the right to:
- Access and export your data — available in the app under your profile settings.
- Correct inaccurate information by editing your profile.
- Delete your account and personal data at any time. See Delete your account for how, and what happens to your data.
- Withdraw consent by deleting your account.
Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we anonymize your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized records (for example, transaction or job history) may be retained where required for legal, financial or fraud-prevention purposes.
Children
Jobsaaa is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
