You can delete your Jobsaaa account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to do it from the app, how to request deletion by email, and exactly what happens to your data.
Option 1 — Delete from the app (fastest)
- Open the Jobsaaa app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is scheduled for anonymization.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us from the address associated with your account:
Email: [email protected]
Use the subject line "Account deletion request". To help us verify your identity, send the request from your registered email and include the phone number on your account. We'll confirm once your account has been deleted.
Export your data first (optional)
If you'd like a copy of your data before deleting, use the Export my data option in the app under Profile → Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove or anonymize your personal information, including:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and profile photo.
- Your profile details and skills.
- Personal identifiers linked to your jobs, requests, and messages.
- Authentication tokens and session data.
Personal data is anonymized within 30 days of your deletion request.
What may be retained
Some records are kept in an anonymized form (no longer linked to you) where we are required to keep them — for example, transaction and financial records, or information needed for fraud prevention, safety, and legal compliance. Anonymized and aggregated data cannot be used to identify you.
Heads up: Deleting your account is permanent. You'll lose access to your job history, messages, reviews, and any boosts or subscription benefits. If you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, remember to cancel the subscription in your store account as well.
